4.4.20 - We're now delivering essential items
You can now order essential items and have them delivered to your home during the COVID-19 lockdown.
We know that kiwis across the country will need essential tech and homeware products over the lockdown period and we have registered with the Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment to supply essential non-food items from our online store and have them delivered to your home with contactless courier delivery.
To avoid confusion, all essential items will carry the orange ‘Essential’ banner so you can easily tell them apart from non-essential items.
Whilst orders for essential items will be dispatched and delivered, orders that contain non-essential items will be held and dispatched once the New Zealand Government has given direction that we are able to do so. This includes orders that contain both essential and non-essential items.
Orders that have been placed before the 4th of April, will be dispatched if they contain essential items only. All other orders will be held and processed once we resume normal operations.
With this said, the safety and well being of our staff and customers is paramount and we have followed guidelines set out by the Ministry of Health to ensure the safety and well being of our dispatch team as they work to get essential items to you. These include:
• Requiring staff to use personal protective equipment. This includes face masks and gloves.
• Cleaning workstations daily.
• Requiring staff to regularly perform hand sanitation throughout the day.
• Practising safe physical distancing within our distribution centre for all staff.
• Practising no contact pickups and delivery with our courier provider.
We fully support the decisions the New Zealand Government have made in order to keep kiwi’s safe and we will continue to follow their direction as the situation evolves.
